Michael Ajayi, the leading scorer for Pepperdine men’s basketball, recently announced his commitment to Gonzaga via Instagram. Ajayi expressed his enthusiasm with the caption “Coming Home… Go Zags !!! ”

Hailing from Kent, Washington, the 6’7″ forward has been pivotal for his team, leading in rebounds, steals, and minutes played. With impressive per-game averages of 17.2 points, 9.9 rebounds, 0.9 steals, and 34.7 minutes, Ajayi has made a significant impact. A junior, Ajayi transferred to Pepperdine after two years at Pierce College, making his decision to return to his home state all the more significant.
