Preview of the EFL Championship match between Blackburn Rovers and Ipswich Town in Gameweek 39 of the 2024 season.
Blackburn Rovers return home for the first time since the international break as they aim to secure their inaugural victory under the management of John Eustace.
Eustace, who assumed the reins from Jon Dahl Tomasson in February, is yet to oversee a triumph for Rovers.
The hosts for Good Friday currently occupy the 17th position in the table with 42 points, while Huddersfield Town, positioned 22nd, trail just three points behind.
Greg Broughton, responsible for the club’s financial matters, recently addressed the media regarding the mishap in the recent transfer window.
It was disclosed that Blackburn failed to finalize the paperwork in time for the deadline to sign American International Duncan McGuire, mistakenly saving instead of submitting the documents.

Team updates for Blackburn:
Arnor Sigurdsson has suffered a significant injury during the international break, as confirmed by Eustace: “Unfortunately Siggy (Sigurdsson) took a nasty knock at the international level and might be out for the rest of the season, which will be a significant loss.”
Eustace praised Sigurdsson’s recent performances, stating: “I think he’s come in for the last couple of games and has really shown his quality. He’s somebody who can score goals. That’s someone who we’ll miss.”
