Jacksonville Jaguars Secure Agreement with Tight End Josiah Deguara

JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars continue to bolster their lineup, adding veteran depth to an already formidable offensive position on Thursday.

Josiah Deguara, an experienced tight end who previously played four seasons with the Green Bay Packers, has joined the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent. The team officially announced the signing on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

Selected by the Packers in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft from Cincinnati, Deguara has started 10 out of 58 games played over the past four seasons. Impressively, he has only missed three games in the last three seasons. Throughout his career, Deguara has accumulated 47 receptions for 436 yards and two touchdowns. Last season, he contributed eight receptions for 65 yards across 15 games.

With Deguara’s addition, the Jaguars’ tight end corps now comprises five members: Deguara, 2023 Pro Bowl honoree Evan Engram, Brenton Strange, Luke Farrell, and Josh Pederson.
