Former AC Milan captain Ambrosini believes that Jovic isn’t performing at the required level.
Former AC Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini has expressed doubts about Luka Jovic’s suitability for the Rossoneri. Jovic, who signed a one-year deal upon his transfer from Fiorentina last summer, has failed to impress Ambrosini.
“I’ve always had the feeling that Jovic is lacking something,” Ambrosini shared with Radio Bruno. “He may have an impact in evenly matched games, but assuming a more significant role could pose challenges for him. Milan generates numerous opportunities, and strikers have ample chances. However, relying on Jovic as the starting striker for next season might not be feasible for the Rossoneri.”
Ambrosini emphasized the importance of Jovic elevating his performance level, stating, “It remains uncertain whether he can enhance his on-field attitude, but Milan expects more from a starting striker.”
