Broncos announce new uniforms coming in 2024

Orlando, Florida – Broncos Country will witness a uniform makeover in 2024, marking the first significant change since 1997, as announced by President Damani Leech on Monday.

Leech expressed enthusiasm for the collaborative effort involving staff, ownership, notably Carrie Walton Penner, and the input from players and fans. While affirming the retention of the Broncos’ logo and team colors, Leech revealed plans for a comprehensive redesign, with the unveiling scheduled “sometime in the next weeks.”

The anticipation was initially teased through a brief social media video featuring the Broncos’ logo adorned with threads and the phrase “coming soon.”

Denver, having undergone six uniform iterations historically, seeks to pay homage to its home state in the upcoming design, according to Owner & CEO Greg Penner. Penner emphasized the need for change, expressing confidence that the new look would resonate with fans by incorporating elements reflecting Colorado. The collaborative effort involved various stakeholders, including ownership, coaches, and players, to gather feedback for the design process.

Leech emphasized the significance of preserving the team’s history and traditions while embracing innovation and respecting the local context. The uniform redesign journey commenced shortly after Leech assumed office in August 2022, involving fan surveys and collaboration with Nike in January 2023. A Broncos delegation, including Leech and Walton Penner, participated in the design discussions held in Beaverton, Oregon, in 2023.

Reflecting on the intricate process, Leech acknowledged the complexities of design, production, and manufacturing, dispelling initial assumptions of simplicity.
