Gustaf Lagerbielke’s January transfer from Celtic to Lecce was one of the more disappointing transfers ever.

Ultimately, the Swede—who Brendan Rodgers hardly uses at Celtic Park—was thrilled about relocating to Italy, but Cameron Carter-Vickers’ health prevented the move.

He then reiterated his desire to play regularly in March and made it quite apparent in the Italian media that he wanted to leave Celtic and play in Serie A. According to Aftonbladet, he was still a target for several Italian clubs.

On the newspaper’s Question Disco podcast, Daniel Kristoffersson responds to inquiries about transfers and talks about Lagerbielke’s future.

It is stated that there are “three clubs that are interested” in signing the Celtic center back, and that he is “still relevant” for a move to Italy during the upcoming transfer window.

The 23-year-old, who has only played in two Scottish Premiership games since the January transfer market closed, would be thrilled to hear that. He played for 27 minutes in the team’s 3-0 triumph over St. Mirren and then for four minutes in the last moments of the team’s 3-1 victory over St. Johnstone.

He is hardly ever included in Celtic’s matchday lineups, which emphasizes the necessity for him to depart from Brendan Rodgers as soon as possible in order to join Italian teams that are eager to get him.
