Chris Sutton believes that Rangers will have to beat Celtic at Celtic Park if they are to win the SPFL title this season.

Gers were the favourites to win the title and had things in their own hands but a loss to Ross County, makes the Hoops the frontrunners.

The former Celtic striker is refusing to write Philippe Clement’s side off and believes they can still win the title.

Talking on Daily Mail’s ‘It’s All Kicking Off’ podcast, Sutton said, via Daily Record: “It is so tight and it’s still in their hands, but they have to go away to Celtic Park and probably win. I still think there will be a couple of twists and turns but I think they will have to beat Celtic at Celtic Park.”

Rangers face a daunting task of beating Celtic

To overcome this challenge and keep their title hopes alive, Gers will need to perform at their best, potentially even surpassing expectations.

This might require tactical adjustments and exceptional performances from key players.

Philippe Clement will need to find the right strategies and motivation to inspire his team to a crucial victory in this high-stakes fixture.

Given the importance of the match and the context of Gers’ recent form, the game at Celtic Park is set to be a defining moment in their season.
