Rangers are better than Celtic on one condition as Ibrox vibes leaves star certain over title chances

The Nigerian forward booked the Light Blues’ spot in the Hampden final of next month by scoring twice against Hearts on Sunday.
After his goal-scoring exploits against Hearts on Sunday, Cyriel Dessers, full of confidence, is certain that Rangers are the BEST team in Scotland once they settle into a groove.
After scoring twice in the Light Blues’ 2-0 victory over the Jambos in the Scottish Cup semi-final, the Nigerian striker was full of confidence. Philippe Clement’s team will now play Glasgow rivals Celtic for the trophy back at the national stadium the following month. In twenty-two years, it will be the first Old Firm final.
In addition to the competition for the Scottish Cup, the Ibrox team is now three points behind their fierce rivals in the Premiership title race following embarrassing mistakes against Ross County and Dundee in the previous week. The Hoops have a better goal differential.
However, Dessers believes that the league standings don’t give the whole picture, stating that if the Gers can find their best form again in the upcoming weeks, they will demonstrate why they are the best team in the nation. The 29-year-old acknowledges that their previous performances have earned them criticism, but he also believes that a significant win over Hearts can give them the perfect boost in momentum heading into the championship run-in.
Dessers stated: “I think it’s just trying to get the vibe back, but if you look at the last few months, we’ve shown what we’re capable of.” We are the best team in the league, in my opinion, if we can regain that rhythm. Hopefully, we can demonstrate this in the upcoming games. Together, the players, staff, supporters, and everyone else in and around the club will be on the pitch, not just us 11 or 15 players, and I believe we can pull this off.
“It goes without saying that you feel external pressure after the last week. In reality, though, we remained composed and knew what to do in our dressing room. If you look at what we accomplished over the past few months, everyone has seen our abilities and what we are capable of on the pitch. Finding this rhythm and fire again is all that’s needed, and in the coming weeks, I believe we can do some really amazing things.
“I love everything about it (the city)—I love this club, I love being here, I love living here,” he went on. Although it’s a beautiful club, it’s not an easy one, so you want to do well there. The amazing atmosphere that prevailed today makes you want to return the favour to the supporters. I believe we accomplished that, but you seem to be focused on the upcoming games and the cup final.
When asked if the championship race was coming to an end, Dessers responded, “There are still six games left and everything is up for grabs. I believe that starting the following weekend, we need to (consider it as) a new league. We are aware of what it takes to win the championship, and I believe we have all the necessary resources to succeed. I hope we can carry that out on the pitch.
