Rangers and an EFL club are chasing the same transfer target as Celtic have rejected a potential Joe Hart replacement.

The 2023–24 Scottish Premiership season is almost over, and the competition for the championship is intensifying. How are Celtic and Rangers faring as we approach the finish line?

A highly-regarded Dutch talent is being pursued by Rangers and Coventry City, while Celtic has rejected a seasoned goalkeeper in their search for a Joe Hart replacement. However, who is it?

Raphael Rodrigues is being chased by Coventry City and Rangers.

Football Insider reports that Raphael Rodrigues, a Dutch-Australian sensation who is currently making waves for Macarthur FC in the A-League, is a target for both Rangers and Coventry.

In Australia’s premier league thus far this season, Rodrigues has tallied four goals and provided two assists. He is a gifted attacker who can play any position in the front line, therefore he would probably be a great addition to the Light Blues team. Even at twenty, he still has a lot of great years ahead of him.
Asmir Begovic is rejected by Celtics as Joe Hart
At the conclusion of the 2023–2024 season, veteran goalkeeper Joe Hart is scheduled to depart Celtic, signaling the end of his professional playing career. The Hoops have been looking hard for a successor as a result, but according to a new Football Insider story, they won’t be taking a chance on Asmir Begovic.
The summer is when Begovic’s Queens Park Rangers contract is scheduled to expire. The Bosnian had previously been connected to Celtic; however, it is thought that his age would be a problem. Begovic, at 36, is far past his prime, and the Celts want a keeper who can play between the sticks for many more years. They continue to look for a new number one throughout the summer transfer window as a result.
