Jonathan Panzo, a Nottingham Forest loan star, hasn’t done enough to persuade Standard Liege to use the purchase option in his loan agreement just yet.

During the winter transfer window, Panzo completed a loan move to Belgium, and he has acknowledged that he has adapted well.

The defender has been offered opportunities at Standard Liege and participated in the weekend’s draw with Sint-Truiden, but he is eager for more playing time.

The loan includes Standard Liege’s option to sign Nottingham Forest’s Panzo permanently this summer.

The Belgian daily DH claims that Panzo hasn’t done enough to persuade Standard Liege to retain him, though.

It is said that his efforts were “insufficient” to cause the Belgians to activate the buyout clause.

Panzo may still have time to reconsider his decision at Standard Liege because the team still has games left against Leuven, Westerlo, Gent, and Mechelen before the season is out.

The defender for Nottingham Forest played for Cardiff City on loan during the first part of the Championship season.
