Milan expressed his satisfaction with the campaign while simultaneously expressing his eagerness for the next one to start.
Recalling his debut season…
“This is my first season in the UK, and I’ve liked being here with the club thus far. I’ve really loved the UK competition, and I truly like it.
“In Holland, a season consists of 34 games; here, it consists of 12 more games. It’s physically taxing at first, but you get used to it.”
Current run of outcomes…
We have plenty of opportunities to win games and get back on top, so I’m not sure why we’re not winning.
“Tomorrow’s final game is just as important as the others, and we want to finish with a win. We all feel good and ready to play the games.”
Goals given up…
“We have given up a lot of goals in the last several games—not because we were outplayed, but rather because of certain individual errors.
“We will rise to the top once more if we can eradicate that from our system.”
The Army of Sky Blue…
“We are grateful for the affection and support we receive at every game, whether at home and abroad. It’s great to observe the extent of the fans’ support for us.
Putting in another tough season at the top of the table…
“We’re not all that distant. We’ve played well for the majority of the season, even against the stronger teams, and we’ve proven we deserve to be in the postseason.
“We just need to be more consistent, stick to the objectives, and stop making mistakes that are personal. We’re not far off.
“We have a 100% chance of making the playoffs next season if we can resolve that.”
After an injury, Tatsuhiro Sakamoto is returning…
“I want to play with him once more soon.” We need him on the team, so I hope he’s becoming stronger and more fit. I can’t wait to play with him once more.
Remaining upbeat at all times…
“The atmosphere in the dressing room and here has always been positive. We make a constant effort to be upbeat.
“As a team, we have accomplished a lot in our first season together, so I personally can’t be disappointed.”
