Luis Binks, a Coventry City loanee, has reportedly “expressed” a wish to move out of Bologna permanently this summer, according to CoventryLive.
The defender joined Coventry City on loan in July of last year, and so far this season, he has made 23 appearances across all competitions, with 18 of those coming in the Championship. His future is uncertain as he is scheduled to return to his parent club.
With two years remaining on his Bologna contract, Binks, 22, might be lured away from the Serie A team with a transfer price. A major decision about his future must be made by the Italian club before the next transfer market opens.
According to CoventryLive, Sky Blues manager Mark Robins stated on Saturday: “We want to stay in touch with him and see how things work out.” However, it will happen soon and is dependent on several circumstances.
Loanee from Coventry City looks out
In the event that Coventry City is determined to entice Binks back to England, the fact that he is willing to leave Bologna will help their chances of acquiring him.
He gives the defensive unit of the Robins competition and depth, and he still has room to improve.
