Danilo, the forgotten Rangers striker, is exerting every effort to make an unexpected comeback in time for this month’s Scottish Cup final.
The Brazilian was expected to miss the remainder of the season after sustaining a medial knee ligament damage against Hearts in December, which prevented him from playing for Rangers. Nevertheless, the 25-year-old provided his fans with an update on his situation during a TikTok session. He acknowledged that it will be “difficult” to participate in the Hampden showdown against Celtic on May 25, but he is making every effort to do so.

“When I return, no one will be prepared for the comeback,” declared Danilo. The return will not be easy. You will all be able to see my return. To be fit, I’m doing my hardest. Thank you so much for your support and for everything; I really appreciate all of you. It’s a huge, huge day on Saturday (in the league versus Celtic). We’re excited about it. We’ll maintain the flame; everyone is paying attention. I’ll try my hardest to make it to the cup final, I hope. With luck. But since it’s hard to promise, I can’t. All of you, Rangers family, are loved and cherished.Scotland is a blue place with no words left.
