ALLEN PARK — C.J. Moore is grateful for a second chance in the league after serving a year-long suspension for betting on NFL games. Fortunately, Moore and the Detroit Lions are familiar with each other, and they quickly reunited after a year apart.
Moore’s second chance comes with the team where he’s had the most success, despite being released immediately following his suspension. This reunion was uncertain given the seriousness of betting on NFL games, an issue the league is heavily regulating and educating players about.
