Louisville TE commit Grant Houser scheduled for official visit this weekend

University of Louisville football coach Jeff Brohm and his staff will be hosting around a dozen prospects for official visits this weekend. Among them is U of L tight end commit Grant Houser.

Houser, a 6-foot-5, 230-pound player from Wapakoneta High School in Ohio, committed to the Cardinals on May 2, shortly after an unofficial visit. He chose Louisville over offers from Air Force, Arkansas State, Army, Central Michigan, Connecticut, Cornell, Eastern Michigan, Miami of Ohio, Navy, Toledo, and others.

Houser confirmed to Cardinal Authority that he will arrive for his official visit on Friday.

As a junior, Houser averaged 9.2 yards per catch in five games, according to MaxPreps.com. He currently holds an 82 grade with 247Sports, ranking him as the No. 95 tight end nationally.
