Following a strong turnout of high school prospects who attended the Brent Venables Football Camp in Norman over the initial two days, day three saw another notable lineup of participants.
Saturday was the third session of this year’s annual Brent Venables Football Camp, a crucial recruiting event for Oklahoma. These camps, spread over five dates, provide the Sooners’ coaching staff with opportunities to evaluate prospects they’re interested in as they compete alongside other talented recruits. It’s a chance for the coaching staff to directly mentor these prospects and observe how they interact with the team’s personnel.
During Thursday’s session, which saw five commits already pledged to OU, along with several players who had received offers from the Sooners prior to camp and a few who earned offers afterward, numerous noteworthy prospects made their presence felt.
