Softball season has returned for the Oklahoma City Spark.

The professional team is set to kick off their 2024 season at the Scenic City Tournament in Chattanooga, Tennessee, running from June 19-22. As they gear up for the new season, they have welcomed several new additions to their roster.

Here’s a rundown of the latest signings for the Oklahoma City Spark in 2024:

– Kinzie Hansen, Catcher, Oklahoma

OKC officially signed Kinzie Hansen on June 14. The standout catcher spent five successful seasons at the University of Oklahoma, clinching four national championships and earning three All-American honors during her collegiate career. Hansen’s impressive stats include 219 RBIs, 171 runs, and 60 home runs, boasting a stellar .390 batting average. She was also recognized as the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year in her final season.

– Rachel Becker, Infielder, Purdue/Oklahoma State

Rachel Becker’s signing was announced on May 23. She played four seasons at Purdue before transferring for a graduate year at Oklahoma State in 2023. Becker, a two-time All-American, contributed significantly with 84 RBIs, 212 runs, and 12 home runs, maintaining an impressive .406 batting average throughout her college career. Her achievements include an All-Big 12 first team selection in 2023 and helping Oklahoma State reach the Women’s College World Series.

– Amber Fiser, Pitcher, Minnesota

Amber Fiser joined the team following her signing announcement on April 10. She played five seasons with the University of Minnesota from 2017 to 2021 and secured an All-American first team accolade in 2019, leading her team to their inaugural Women’s College World Series appearance. Fiser’s impressive pitching career boasts a remarkable 1.69 ERA with 953 strikeouts over 859 1/3 innings pitched. Last summer, she took on the role of assistant pitching coach at North Florida.

– Dejah Mulipola, Catcher, Arizona

Dejah Mulipola’s signing was confirmed on February 22. She played five standout seasons at the University of Arizona from 2017 to 2021, earning two All-American selections. Mulipola’s collegiate stats include 212 RBIs, 202 runs, and 71 home runs with a .339 batting average. She further solidified her career by winning an Athletes Unlimited Softball championship in 2022.

As the Oklahoma City Spark prepares for the upcoming season, these signings are expected to strengthen their roster and contribute to their competitive edge in the league.
