Top defensive tackle recruit Justus Terry has once again set his sights on the Georgia Bulldogs.

This week is crucial for the Georgia Bulldogs’ recruiting efforts.

They have the opportunity to secure commitments from two five-star prospects.

One of these prospects is defensive lineman Justus Terry, ranked as the No. 2 defensive lineman and No. 12 overall prospect in the 2025 class by 247 Sports.

The 6-foot-5, 270-pound defensive tackle initially committed to Georgia last January before switching to USC.

Georgia Still on Terry’s Mind

“Georgia’s been in my heart,” Terry shared with Jed May of UGA Rivals. “They never left, to be honest with you.”

Terry, from Manchester, GA, recorded 78 total tackles, 13 sacks, and six tackles for loss at Manchester High School in 2023.

Terry prefers to play close to home.

“I feel like I have a lot of family members and I’m big on family,” Terry said. “When it comes to my decision, I want to be close to my family but at a good school that can still develop me. That’s what played a big part in my decision, really the distance and leaving family behind and my mom, being far away from my mom.”

Earlier this month, Terry visited Athens, where Georgia star defensive end Mykel Williams gave him a tour. Two weeks later, Terry decommitted from USC.

Besides Georgia, Terry is considering Florida State and Alabama, with the Bulldogs currently leading.

The other five-star recruit Georgia could secure soon is edge Isaiah Gibson, who decommitted from USC a day before Terry.

Gibson is visiting Athens for the third time this weekend.
