The Milwaukee Bucks are one of the NBA’s most prominent teams.

Although they are in a small market, they have assembled a roster with standout players, an NBA Championship-winning head coach, and a very high payroll.

Recently, ESPN’s Bobby Marks disclosed the eight teams facing a luxury tax bill for the 2023-24 season, with the Bucks ranking fourth on the list.

The Bucks won the 2021 NBA Championship but have been eliminated in the first round of the playoffs for the past three seasons.

In the most recent season, they finished as the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 49-33 record.

However, they were defeated by the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the playoffs, losing the series in six games.

Notably, two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo did not play in the series, and All-Star point guard Damian Lillard missed two games.

Recently, ESPN’s Bobby Marks reported that the Bucks are fourth among the eight teams with a luxury tax bill for the 2023-24 season.

It’s reasonable to say that without injuries, the Bucks might have had a better shot at a title.

Nevertheless, their overall season was highly disappointing.

The Bucks made a significant trade to acquire Lillard in the 2023 offseason, and the upcoming season will be crucial in determining if he was worth the trade.
