The left-back had a challenging 2023/24 season on loan at Fulham, where he played only 65 minutes across six league matches and made two additional appearances in the EFL Cup.

Despite this, Watford have shown interest in the 27-year-old. Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Hornets are keen on acquiring Ballo-Touré this summer.

The Senegal international is set to return to AC Milan after his underwhelming loan spell at Fulham. According to Di Marzio, Watford have reached out to the Rossoneri regarding the player, although it’s unclear whether they are looking to sign him on loan or on a permanent deal.

With just one year left on his contract, this transfer window is Milan’s final opportunity to sell Ballo-Touré for a reasonable fee. Watford might capitalize on this situation to secure a permanent move for the Fulham loanee, provided he is willing to join them.
