Mariyon Dye Chooses to Join Tennessee Football

The Tennessee Volunteers have bolstered their 2025 recruiting class with another commitment, as Top-5 EDGE rusher Mariyon Dye announced on Friday that he will be joining the team.

Dye’s commitment marks the fifth addition for Tennessee in June alone, bringing their total to 16 recruits for the 2025 class. Although they are currently ranked outside the top ten, Dye’s commitment is expected to push them into top-10 territory soon.

Tennessee’s recent success in securing EDGE rushers has been impressive. The Volunteers have already received commitments from Jayden Loftin and Mariyon Dye for this class, following the signing of five-star recruit Jordan Ross last year. Additionally, James Pearce is likely to be the first pass rusher selected in the upcoming draft, with potential to be the No. 1 overall pick.
