Arkansas Transfer Kylie Brockman Joins Softball Team for the 2025 Season
AUBURN, Ala. – To strengthen their 2025 roster, co-head coaches Chris and Kate Malveaux announced the signing of Kylie Brockman, a Southeastern Conference transfer, on Tuesday.
Brockman, a catcher from Kansas City, Kansas, spent her freshman season at Arkansas.
“Kylie will be a great addition to our roster this year,” said Chris Malveaux. “She is a gutsy competitor with a great work ethic. She’s versatile defensively and brings a lot of offensive potential to our lineup. She will help in various infield positions and also catch behind the plate. We are thrilled for her to be an Auburn Tiger!”
During her freshman season in Fayetteville, Brockman had limited action, appearing in nine games. She had 10 at-bats, scored twice, and drew two walks. Defensively, she had a perfect fielding percentage with 29 putouts and two assists.
“Kylie brings a mentality that we are super excited about,” added Kate Malveaux. “Her work ethic and drive make her well-suited for catching and playing across the infield. She will add solid depth to our offense.”
A highly regarded recruit from Piper High School, Brockman was ranked No. 19 in Extra Inning Softball’s 2022 Extra Elite 100. She earned Kansas 5A All-State Honorable Mention honors in 2021. She also played for Select Fastpitch 18U, hitting 14 home runs, 53 RBI, and achieving a 1.135 OPS and .985 fielding percentage.
In addition to her softball prowess, Brockman was a two-time powerlifting state champion and Kansas 5A state runner-up in javelin.
