Deal Cancel: Tiger withdraw Akil Baddoo deal back to Toledo to recruit a utility player
DETROIT — The Detroit Tigers have sent outfielder Akil Baddoo to Triple-A Toledo to bring in an additional right-handed bat for their upcoming series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Utility player Ryan Vilade was called up from Toledo and is set to start in right field, batting ninth in Friday night’s series opener.
