Report: Dismissal of Cormani McClain from Florida Gators Proven False
Following social media rumors that defensive back Cormani McClain had been dismissed from the Florida Gators, multiple sources, including a statement from McClain’s agent, have confirmed that these claims are false, and McClain remains with the team.
“Cormani McClain is still with the team and doing well. The rumors are completely untrue. Social media can be misleading,” stated Hector Rivas of Disruptive Sports, McClain’s agent.
Earlier on Tuesday, PolkWay, a media member based in south Florida, posted that McClain, who had transferred from Colorado in the offseason, was no longer with the Gators but might have the opportunity to rejoin the team.
However, numerous reports from various media members and a post by Florida secondary coach Will Harris have confirmed that the initial claims were incorrect.
