Texas Longhorns to welcome five-star safety Jonah Williams for a visit
Just when it seemed like the Oregon Ducks were the frontrunners for five-star safety Jonah Williams, the Texas Longhorns might have re-entered the race.
According to Inside Texas, the Longhorns are scheduled to host Williams on Thursday, July 25th, which is the last day of summer workouts. In addition to his football prowess, Williams is anticipated to play baseball at the collegiate level and may even follow in his older brother Nick Williams’s footsteps by pursuing a career in MLB. Nick Williams, who was once committed to Texas, could be a source of inspiration for Jonah.
He will have the opportunity to interact with the football staff and also meet the new baseball head coach, Jim Schlossnagle.
