Five-star basketball prospect considering UNC shares thoughts on visits.
One of the prospects on North Carolina’s 2025 recruiting list is Bryson Tiller, a five-star power forward from Atlanta. Although he received an offer from North Carolina a year ago, there hasn’t been much activity from the Tar Heels in his recruitment since then.
It seems that Tiller is no longer a priority for North Carolina, as their interest appears to have waned. However, in a recent interview, he did mention being open to visiting other programs.
Eric Bossi of 247Sports spoke with Tiller at the Under Armour Association event near Atlanta, where Tiller was sidelined due to an injury. During the interview, Tiller discussed his past visits and his upcoming schedule, which notably did not include UNC. He also mentioned the possibility of visiting a few other schools.
Tiller’s main focus now is on recovering and returning to play. Once he’s healthy, he and his family plan to reassess his recruitment and decide on a timeline and additional visits.
“I’d like to take maybe a couple more visits to some of the schools I’ve been to or a couple of other schools as well,” Tiller said. “Just to learn more about development and how I would improve and reach the next level.”
Tiller did not specifically mention UNC, indicating that the Tar Heels might need to make up lost ground if they wish to remain in contention for his commitment. If there continues to be little activity from UNC in his recruitment, they might fall out of the running.
