(CBS DETROIT) – A farm in Southeast Michigan has designed a Detroit Lions-themed corn maze, generating excitement among fans for the upcoming football season.
Choice Farm Market in Webberville has crafted a corn maze in the likeness of Dan Campbell’s face. This follows Campbell, the Lions’ head coach, guiding the team to its most successful season in 32 years.
The maze depicts Campbell wearing a baseball cap with “Grit” written on it, framed by a lion’s mane around his face. It also includes the team slogans “Go Lions” and “One Pride.”
Each year, the farm creates a unique maze for its visitors, and this year’s design by Precision Mazes has quickly captured the attention of NFL fans and players.
Fans can explore the corn maze starting September 28, when it opens for the season. The farm promises Lions-themed activities throughout the maze.
“The maze will not only be challenging but also honors our fearless leader who lifted our Lions from the depths of losing and being the NFL’s doormat to the brink of the Super Bowl,” Choice Farm Market shared in a social media post. “Never before have we confidently been able to even talk about that!”
Visitors can enjoy photo opportunities and interactive activities that test their knowledge of the Lions.
Following their best season in decades, the Detroit Lions extended the contracts of coach Dan Campbell and general manager Brad Holmes through 2027.
The Detroit Lions’ training camp officially begins this week, with veterans reporting on Tuesday and practice starting Wednesday.
