Los Angeles Rams Cornerback Sustains Unusual Injury, Out for Indefinite Period

On just the second day of Los Angeles Rams training camp, newly re-acquired cornerback Darious Williams sustained a hamstring strain, sidelining him for the rest of the week. On Saturday, head coach Sean McVay provided an update, confirming the injury but not specifying a return date, stating they would evaluate his progress ‘a few days at a time.’

In the meantime, the Rams have signed former Detroit Lions cornerback Jerry Jacobs following Williams’ injury and Derion Kendrick’s ACL tear. This move addresses the increased need at the position and helps prevent additional workload and potential injuries for the remaining cornerbacks.
