The Las Vegas Raiders have a strong dislike for Patrick Mahomes and aren’t shy about expressing it.

As AFC West rivals, Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs and the Raiders always have intense matchups.

Despite this, Mahomes and the Chiefs have dominated the division for a while.

Fans saw how heated things can get between the two teams during Netflix’s “Quarterback” series when Maxx Crosby and Mahomes had a verbal exchange following a physical altercation.

With training camps underway, the rivalry has reignited.

At Raiders camp, players circulated a Kermit the Frog puppet dressed in a Mahomes jersey and sporting a wig that mimicked the three-time Super Bowl winner’s hairstyle.

Throughout his career, Mahomes has often been teased about his voice, which is frequently compared to a Muppet’s.

Before the Chiefs’ Super Bowl run, the Raiders appeared to have exposed some weaknesses in the Chiefs. Despite not gaining a single passing yard in the final three quarters on Christmas Day, the Raiders still secured a 20-14 win at Arrowhead.

However, Mahomes has dominated the Raiders throughout his career, boasting a 10-2 record against Las Vegas. In those 12 games, Mahomes has a 109.6 passer rating, with 3,573 passing yards, 30 touchdowns, just four interceptions, and a 66.2% completion rate. So, it might not be wise for the Raiders to provoke him.

That Christmas Day loss seemingly ignited the Chiefs, who went on to win six consecutive games and secured their second consecutive Super Bowl.

The Chiefs don’t need much motivation. They’ve been vocal about their ambition to become the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls, discussing it ever since their walk-off touchdown in the Super Bowl in February.
