After securing a gold medal at the Paris Olympics, the conversation about Kevin Durant being one of the most dominant and influential players in the NBA is certainly justified. Despite playing for multiple teams, he’s earned every accolade along the way.

Durant’s impact dates back to his college days, particularly in the 2006-07 season with the Texas Longhorns, where he was a formidable opponent.

As a freshman, Durant was nearly unstoppable, averaging 25.8 points, 11.1 rebounds, along with steals and blocks per game, shooting 47% from the field. His stellar performance earned him recognition with the Rupp Trophy, Naismith Award, and Wooden Award—adding yet another achievement to his collection.

However, this new piece of hardware stands apart from the others mentioned, as this unique WWE championship belt holds a different significance. During Fanatics Fest in New York City this weekend, Triple H, the company’s boss and former wrestler, presented Kevin Durant with a special gift.

The championship belt features the Texas Longhorns logo and colors, marking a memorable moment between the two legends. This gift follows the announcement that the Longhorns will host a San Antonio Spurs game at the Moody Center in February.

Though the Longhorns’ new arena has only recently become their home, what’s exciting is that the Spurs will be playing against Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns, making it a special night for KD in front of Spurs and Longhorns fans alike.
