American sprinting star Sha’Carri Richardson aims to finish her season on a strong note by going for double sprint wins at the Brussels Diamond League.

Olympic silver medallist Sha’Carri Richardson is aiming to finish her 2024 season on a high by going for the double sprint titles at the Brussels Diamond League on September 13 and 14.

For the first time ever, the Brussels Diamond League will span two days, featuring all 32 events and bringing together Olympic 100m medallists to compete for the largest prize money ever awarded in Belgium.

Richardson is set to compete in the women’s 100m on the first day against a highly competitive lineup, including Olympic champion Julien Alfred, British record holder Dina Asher-Smith, and Africa’s fastest woman ever, Marie Josee Ta Lou-Smith.

Interestingly, these athletes faced off just a week earlier at the Zurich Diamond League, where Richardson claimed victory, earning what many saw as Olympic redemption over Alfred.
