The Oklahoma Sooners’ 2025 recruiting class suffered a setback on Wednesday evening as defensive tackle Ka’Mori Moore announced his decommitment from OU. Multiple outlets shared the news on social media.

Moore, a three-star prospect according to 247Sports and On3, had been committed to Oklahoma since July 2023. He has offers from Nebraska, Michigan State, Iowa State, and Miami (Ohio) and attends Lee’s Summit North High School in Missouri.

Despite Moore’s departure, the Sooners still have defensive linemen C.J. Nickson, Trent Wilson, and Alexander Shieldknight committed to their 2025 class.

Moore is the second defensive lineman to decommit from Oklahoma in the past ten days, following Floyd Boucard, who made the decision last Monday.

Despite these decommitments, the Sooners’ future at defensive tackle remains promising, especially with Trent Wilson in the 2025 class. Additionally, the rapid rise of 2024 defensive tackle Jayden Jackson, who earned a starting spot out of fall camp, has further bolstered the position.
