Oklahoma State football replaces Alan Bowman with Garret Rangel for the game against West Virginia.

Oklahoma State quarterback Alan Bowman was replaced by Garret Rangel in the third quarter during a home game against West Virginia on Saturday. Bowman finished with 10 completions on 19 attempts for 116 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, while West Virginia led 31-7 with 58 seconds left in the third. This marked the second time this season Bowman was benched, having also been sidelined in the second half of a previous loss to Utah. Rangel, who struggled with just three completions on 11 attempts for 31 yards, ultimately saw Bowman return midway through the fourth quarter, where he led OSU to score 16 unanswered points. Rangel, a redshirt sophomore, has played in 11 games, starting four, with a career total of 83 completions on 166 attempts for 949 yards, six touchdowns, and six interceptions.
