Edmond Memorial standout Keegan Baker announced her commitment to Oklahoma softball on Friday.

Baker, a right-handed pitcher from the 2026 recruiting class, is ranked by Softball America as the No. 18 overall prospect and the No. 8 pitcher in her class.

“God is good, all the time,” Baker shared on X. “First, I want to thank God for this incredible opportunity. I also want to express my gratitude to my amazing support system—my family and friends—who have always encouraged me. Thank you to all the wonderful coaches I’ve had over the years, whose guidance has deepened my love for the game.

“A special thanks to Coach Patty Gasso, Coach JT Gasso, Coach Jennifer Rocha, and the entire OU softball staff for welcoming me into your family. With that said, I’m beyond excited to announce that I’ll be continuing both my academic and athletic journey at the University of Oklahoma. #Boomer.”

Baker is the fifth recruit in OU’s 2026 class, joining right-handed pitcher Malaya Majam-Finch, outfielder Payton Westra, infielder Jerrell “Ori” Mailo, and infielder Ki’ele Ho-Ching.

OU, having won four consecutive Women’s College World Series titles, will conclude its fall season with the final game of the Oklahoma Battle Series on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Love’s Field.
