After two consecutive sluggish starts and losses, Geno Smith and the Seattle Seahawks are frustrated by their inability to turn around slow games and complete comebacks late in the fourth quarter. Smith emphasized the need for the team to execute for the entire game, not just at the end. The Seahawks lost 29-20 to the Giants, marking their second straight defeat after previously being undefeated and leading the NFC West.

Seattle’s offense struggled again, particularly with its running game, while the defense had difficulty controlling possession and getting off the field. A crucial special teams error occurred when a blocked field goal led to a Giants touchdown, sealing the game. Despite solid efforts from the defense and special teams, Seattleā€™s inconsistent pressure on Giants quarterback Daniel Jones, along with offensive imbalance, contributed to the loss.

Looking ahead, the Seahawks face a quick turnaround with a pivotal divisional game against the San Francisco 49ers, as the team tries to fix their issues and regain control in the NFC West. Players stressed the importance of accountability and commitment to making necessary corrections.
