Nearly five years after the pilot, an entire season of *Hazbin Hotel* made a splash on Prime Video earlier this year. Season 1 is a high-energy, fast-paced musical comedy filled with irreverent, dark humor and heartwarming moments. The catchy songs also hit the spot for musical theater fans with a “Broadway” vibe.

The first season leaves several plot points unresolved, with the finale setting up for Season 2. Naturally, we were left with more questions than answers. While we eagerly await what’s next, here’s a list of 10 questions we need answered in *Hazbin Hotel* Season 2.

What deal did Alastor make?

Alastor grins while leaning over his desk and holding his microphone in Hell in Hazbin Hotel Season 1.
*Hazbin Hotel* Season 1

Good old Alastor — everyone’s favorite Radio Demon. Alastor (voiced by Amir Talai) remained one of the biggest mysteries of Season 1. Why was he absent from Hell for seven years? What deal did he make? Will Alastor and Vox (Christian Borle) ever reconcile? There are so many questions about Alastor, but so far, we have no answers.

**Why Is Lilith in Heaven?**

Remember when Lute (Jessica Vosk) tells Lilith that their deal is off? Lilith is seen relaxing on a beach in Heaven, raising the question: what is she doing there? Is her seven-year absence from Hell connected to Alastor? Does she have control over his soul? The fact that both Alastor and Lilith were gone for seven years seems like more than a coincidence. There must be a link between them.

**Will Lilith Return to Hell to Stop Charlie?**

Lilith is another intriguing character who raises a lot of questions. Now that she’s back in the story, will she return to Hell to interfere with Charlie’s (Erika Henningsen) efforts at the Hazbin Hotel? Lute is now in charge and wants Lilith to disrupt Charlie’s plans. If Lilith returns to Hell, will she reunite with Lucifer (Jeremy Jordan), our beloved, depressed, duck-obsessed father? I can’t help but wonder how their reunion will unfold, especially since we know they’re still married and Lucifer’s love for Lilith probably isn’t one-sided.

**Why Did Lilith Keep Lucifer and Charlie Apart?**

In the song “More Than Anything,” we see Lilith seemingly separating Charlie from Lucifer. We know Lucifer was against Charlie’s dream of running a demon rehabilitation center due to his own experiences with Heaven, but Lilith’s thoughts on the matter remain unclear. Could Charlie’s similarities to her father be the reason Lilith kept them apart?

**Will We Get Huskerdust?**

Angel Dust (Blake Roman) and Husk (Keith David) sing back-to-back in Hazbin Hotel's "Masquerade."
*Hazbin Hotel* Season 1

Angel Dust (voiced by Blake Roman) and Husk (voiced by Keith David) are absolutely adorable together. They’re our lovable misfits (see what I did there?). There’s definitely some chemistry between them. So, will we see the beginnings of “Huskerdust” in Season 2? Husk’s grumpy nature paired with Angel’s lively personality makes for a perfect match made in Hell.

On another note, I’m hoping we get more backstory for characters like Angel, Husk, Niffty (voiced by Kimiko Glenn), and others. It would be great to learn more about their lives as humans.

Will Emily Mentor Sir Pentious in Heaven?

Sir Pentious points forward, commanding his Egg Bois to attack, on Hazbin Hotel Season 1.
*Hazbin Hotel* Season 1

Sir Pentious (voiced by Alex Brightman) ascends to Heaven after our group of misfits clashes with Adam (also Brightman) and his Exorcists, proving that Charlie’s redemption methods work. Emily (Shoba Narayan) and Sera (Patina Miller) witness his arrival, with Emily looking excited and Sera appearing stunned.

Following that, will Emily take Sir Pentious under her wing in Heaven? Or will he eventually return to Hell to reunite with his friends and his love, Cherri Bomb (voiced by Krystina Alabado)? Only time will tell.

**Will the Extermination News Cause Division Among Heaven’s Ranks?**

Heaven may operate quite differently with Adam gone and Lute taking his place. Add the revelation about the Exterminations, and there’s potential for division within Heaven’s ranks. This could distract Heaven, allowing Charlie to quietly continue her demon rehabilitation efforts. Will Emily keep her promise to Charlie and try to address the situation?

**Will Angel Find a Way to Break Free from Valentino?**

Valentino holds a black/pink gun and a golden gun while gesturing wildly and standing in his quarters.

*Hazbin Hotel* Season 1

Watching Valentino (voiced by Joel Perez) abuse Angel is heartbreaking, but it’s equally empowering to see Angel stand up to him. I truly hope Angel finds a way to break free from Valentino’s control. It would align with the show’s hopeful and optimistic tone, where “sinners” can grow, find redemption, and evil demons like Valentino face consequences for their actions.

**Will the Vees Become the Main Antagonists for Season 2?**

“The future of Hell belongs to the Vees…”

The Vees—Vox, Valentino, and Velvette (voiced by Lilli Cooper)—are formidable Overlords with immense influence. In the final song of Season 1, the sinister trio plots to dominate Hell, seeing cracks in the Overlord power structure. I can see the Vees becoming the primary antagonists in Season 2, perhaps even surpassing Alastor in threat level. This could lead to an unlikely and precarious alliance between Alastor, Charlie, and the Hazbin Hotel team to stop their rise to power.

**Will Charlie and Vaggie Get a Sweet Love Song That Lasts Longer Than a Minute?**

Charlie smiles while putting her arms around Vaggie's shoulders, who looks apprehensive.
*Hazbin Hotel* Season 1

Charlie and Vaggie (voiced by Stephanie Beatriz) have a tender, romantic moment in the short song “More Than Anything (Reprise).” Will Season 2 finally give us a full-length love song for these adorable characters? Henningsen and Beatriz’s voices harmonize so well, it would be a real shame not to give them a proper duet.
