A Triumphant Return to the Stage
This marks AC/DC’s first extended North American tour since their 2015-2016 “Rock or Bust” run. That tour saw Johnson temporarily step back due to hearing loss, with Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses stepping in as a replacement. Johnson rejoined the band in 2018 to record their 2020 album, Power Up.
AC/DC’s current lineup reunited at the 2023 Power Trip festival in Indio, California, where they thrilled fans with timeless hits like “Back in Black” and “Thunderstruck.” The upcoming U.S. tour follows a successful European leg earlier this year, which saw the band performing across Germany and other countries.
About the Power Up Era
Power Up, AC/DC’s most recent album, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2020 and delivered rock anthems like “Realize” and “Shot in the Dark.” The album earned Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance for “Shot in the Dark.”
With a history of unparalleled energy and unforgettable performances, AC/DC’s return promises to reignite their legacy as rock icons while thrilling fans old and new.
