Sepultura Announces Farewell Tour and Final EP Release

 

Legendary Brazilian metal band Sepultura has officially announced their farewell tour, “Celebrating Life Through Death,” marking the culmination of their 40-year career. The tour is set to continue into 2025, with a series of performances across Latin America, including stops in Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Mexico. Notably, they are scheduled to perform at the Vive Latino Festival in Mexico City on March 16, 2025.

 

In addition to their farewell tour, Sepultura plans to release an EP featuring four new songs, further commemorating their four-decade legacy.

 

The “Celebrating Life Through Death” tour has been an extensive journey, covering North America, Europe, and other regions before returning to Latin America. The Latin American leg is scheduled for March 2025, beginning in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, on March 11 and wrapping up on March 30 in São Paulo, Brazil.

 

Sepultura’s decision to embark on a farewell tour comes after a storied career that has significantly influenced the metal genre. Guitarist Andreas Kisser has expressed that the tour is a conscious and planned conclusion to the band’s journey, allowing them to celebrate their legacy with fans worldwide.
