Talking Heads is Back with 2025 World Tour and New Album Dropping on 4th April

February 25, 2025 — Legendary rock band Talking Heads is making a historic comeback with a highly anticipated 2025 world tour and a brand-new album set for release on April 4, 2025. This marks their first studio album in decades, reigniting excitement among fans worldwide.

Known for their genre-defying sound blending punk, new wave, and world music, Talking Heads became icons of the late 20th century music scene with hits like “Psycho Killer”, “Once in a Lifetime”, and “This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)”. After disbanding in 1991 and only briefly reuniting for their 2002 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, fans had long thought a comeback was off the table—until now.

The band’s upcoming album, whose title remains under wraps, is rumored to push creative boundaries while staying true to the signature Talking Heads style. In a press statement, frontman David Byrne shared, “We wanted to make something that speaks to today’s world but still carries that Talking Heads energy. It feels like the right time.”

The world tour is set to kick off in New York City in late April, followed by stops across Europe, Asia, and Australia, before wrapping up in Los Angeles. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting March 5, with general sales opening on March 8.

Fans and critics alike are buzzing with anticipation, calling this one of the most unexpected and exciting reunions in recent music history. As the countdown to April 4 begins, one thing is certain — the Talking Heads are ready to make the world dance once again.
