After an illustrious career in WWE, Rhea Ripley has made the shocking announcement that she will retire from professional wrestling. The 28-year-old powerhouse, who has been a dominant force in the women’s division since her debut in 2017, revealed her planned retirement date, marking the end of an era for fans and the industry alike.

Ripley, who is known for her raw strength, incredible agility, and unique persona, rose to prominence through several high-profile matches, including her historic victories over the likes of Asuka, Charlotte Flair, and most recently, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Over the years, she earned countless accolades, including being a former RAW Women’s Champion, SmackDown Women’s Champion, and the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble winner.

Although Ripley’s decision to step away from the ring comes as a surprise, she has hinted at exploring other ventures outside of wrestling, including acting and various business opportunities. Her retirement follows a brief absence from WWE in late 2024 due to an orbital bone injury, but she made a strong return in November 2024, continuing to remain at the forefront of WWE storylines.
