Seattle Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys: Final Injury Update, How to Watch, Betting Odds

FRISCO: The Dallas Cowboys hope to continue their home winning streak when they host the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football. Dallas could make it 14 games in a row with a victory at AT&T Stadium. That would be the team’s longest winning streak since the Cowboys’ eighteen-game winning streak at Texas Stadium in 1979–1981.

Following the disastrous game against the 49ers in Santa Clara, Dallas has won three straight and five of six. Despite their season-long success, the Cowboys are still two games behind the Eagles in the NFC East lead.

Seattle has dropped two straight games and three out of four after having a great start to the season. Thanks in part to the 49ers’ 31-13 victory at Lumen Field last week, what was once a share of the NFC West lead has dropped to a two-game deficit behind San Francisco.

The Cowboys, led by quarterback Dak Prescott, have led the NFL in points scored per game through 12 weeks, averaging 31.5, and 42.3 over their final three. Dallas is leading the league in home scoring, averaging an amazing 41.0 points per contest.

Seattle is ranked No. 18 and scores 20.8 points per game on the court, but only 18.6 when playing away from home.

The Cowboys’ most difficult stretch of games is set to begin on Thursday. The next five opponents have a combined record of 37-18, with three of the top teams in the league—Philadelphia, Miami, and Detroit.

Although quarterback Geno Smith of the Seahawks was sidelined with an injured oblique last time out, he was not included on Monday’s initial injury report of the week. That’s encouraging that he will be available for the game on Thursday.

Coach Pete Carroll stated that although running back Ken Walker III was one of five players who did not practice on Monday, it is hoped he can play on Thursday.
