Broncos News The Chargers’ injury status for Patrick Surtain II

Broncos can breathe a sigh of relief with Patrick Surtain II injury

The Week 14 injury report for the Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Chargers game is available.

The Denver Broncos had virtually no margin for error due to their 1-5 start to the season. Due to their limited options, Denver had no choice but to win during their five-game winning streak, which is in part what made it such a marvel.

Any remaining wiggle room in that margin has now been virtually eliminated following last week’s defeat in Houston. With a 6-6 record, the Broncos need to win the remaining games.

This mission begins on Sunday when the Broncos take on the AFC West rival Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium, a place where the team has never won. Now that we know how many of Denver’s horses are fit and available, let’s look at the final injury report for each team.

Analysis: The Broncos continue to have a very lucky injury report. This team has remained healthy, which has benefited Denver, with the exception of a few personnel losses—the majority of which occurred during training camp.

It will be important to keep an eye on Perine’s condition as he appeared on the injury report this week with a knee injury. He’s been a lifesaver on third down and during the Broncos’ four-minute offense, as well as a nice complement to Javonte Williams.

Even though Surtain has been given the all-clear, his situation still needs to be closely watched. The Broncos will need their All-Pro corner to defeat Keenan Allen this week and restrict Justin Herbert’s options in the passing game.
