Rangers hero Ryan Kent wants a return to “the Premier League or Scotland” if he is to leave Fenerbahce.
Despite making 15 appearances this season, the Englishman has only scored once and provided two assists, demonstrating his lack of effect during his time in Turkey.
The winger would only want to leave the Turkish Super League team for a move to the top division in either England or Scotland, according to journalist Ahmet Selim Kul, who covers Fenerbahce for Habertürk TV.
In an interview with Rangers Review, he stated: “Kent will be the foreign player released if Fenerbahce is forced to add Bonnuci to their roster because he was not able to play much.
“The squad mentality has shifted, and he finds it difficult to adjust to Istanbul culture.”
Due to his quiet and introverted nature, Kent found it difficult to adjust to the metropolis and as a result, it appears that the club will be selling Kent during current transfer window.
“Kent’s camp has informed me that while he does not wish to leave Fenerbahce during this transfer window, I think he will.
“Hull City wants to move him, and there’s a lot of interest in him from the English Championship and Turkey.
“Their Turkish owner enjoys a cordial connection with Fenerbahce. I’ve heard that Kent wants to go back to the Premier League or Scottish Premiership, so it’s unclear what he will do.
“He does not want to go to the Championship or another Turkish team.”
